17th Graduation Day – 02.08.2015
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R.A. Krishnakumar, Executive Director, Dalmia Cements underlined the importance of respecting the parents, teachers and alma mater who are the backbone in sacrificing and moulding them as more humane as well as professional in their personal and career life.
While lauding the institution for being the forefront of academics and sports, Mr. Krishnakumar put forth the bitter reality:  that Indian educational institution yet to contribute for the tangible changes in the society.  Besides knowledge students should be developed in skills and attitudes during their collegiate life itself which would pave the way for their success in personal and career life. 
During the collegiate life students should have the habit of reading and continuous learning.  Continuous updation is also inevitable in this knowledge society.  He stressed the importance of discipline while studying in the institution.  Even after getting into the job, one has to have the thirst for the higher studies which could make them more knowledgeable and sustainable in their pursuit.  Ultimately students have to contribute something to the nation more constructively.
74 rank holders received their medals and degree certificates.  964 students of both UG and PG received their degrees in Engineering, Computer Applications and Management during the Convocation ceremony.  The Chairman of J.J. Group of Institutions Prof. K. Ponnusamy presided over the function.  Dr. S. Sathiyamoorthy, Principal presented the report on the achievement of the institution.
