Contribution of Rs.25 lakhs to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PMCARES) Fund

We the All India Nationalised Banks Officers’ Federation (AINBOF) is a registered Trade Union with a membership of more than one lakh and is meant exclusively for the officers working in the Nationalised Banks.
The COVID 19 Pandemic is threatering the entire world and has raised serious questions on the  medical infrastructure world over and our preparedness to tackle its severity.

Under your able leadership, India, as a nation has been able to keep the pandemic under control, unlike the countries more developed than overs.
Considering the plight of the millions of poor, on account of the Lockdown, a slew of measures have been announced under the Prime Ministers Garib Kalyan Yojana with the onus of implementaion on the part of the banking personnel.

We, the Bank Officers, consider ourselves as the financial army, which safeguards and protects the economic interests of the nation and its citizens akin to our armed forces guarding the borders. We believe that collective action is the the most effective way to mitigate any issue and we assure our support in the country’s fight against the pandemic.

At the same time, we place a request to you take care of the interests of the Banker community  also into consideration as they are the frontline people to deal with lakhs of citizens in the days to come.
We have suggested to Reserve Bank of India vide our letter dated 28.03.2020 on various measures to be implemented for improving the efficiency in delivering essential banking services and vide our letter dated 29.03.2020 suggested measures to be implemented for ensuring the safety of the Bank Employees and Officers.

Both the above  communications have been posted to your twitter account also.  We are hopeful that the expectations of the bankers will also be taken care of suitably while they are delivering the services to the masses at this critical juncture.
We also take this opportunity to extend a contribution of Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs towards the PMCARES Fund to provide relief to the affected people and alleviating the troubles of our fellow brethren,
