 PAPER MILL OF THE YEAR AWARD 2013-2014

TNPL has bagged the ‘IPMA Paper Mill of the Year Award 2013-2014’. Indian Paper Manufacturers’ Association (IPMA) , New Delhi, announces the ’Paper Mill of the Year  Award’ on  alternate years. The award for 2013-14 was given by IPMA to TNPL in New Delhi in the 15^th  Annual General Meeting of IPMA held on 9^th January 2015. TNPL has received this prestigious  award  on the last occasion for the year 2011-12 also.  The award was received by Shri A Velliangiri, Deputy Managing Director, TNPL from Shri Shailendra Singh IAS , Jt. Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (Paper), Ministry of Commerce & Industry ,Government of India.

TNPL operates with an installed capacity of 4.00 lakh MT per annum. TNPL exports about 20% of its production to over 35 countries . TNPL is currently setting up a state-of-the art Multilayer Double Coated Board Plant with an annual capacity of 2,00,000 tonnes at a capital outlay of Rs.1500 cr.  The project is likely to be completed by December 2015. With the commissioning of the Board Plant,  total production capacity  of TNPL  will rise to 6 lakh MT per annum from financial year 2016-17.
